The Single Malt Scotch Glenfiddich 18 YO Reserve Whisky whisky matures in a combination of ex-sherry Oloroso barrels and then matures in ex-bourbon oak American barrels. Glenfiddich is a robust and exceptional whiskey. This result is not only due to the age of 18, but also due to the care, attention and especially the knowledge of whiskey distillation, which is served from generation to generation. Each barrel was individually numbered and closely monitored until the bottles were filled.

Cragganmore 12 has a combination of sweet floral fragrances, riverside herbs and flowers with some honey and vanilla. “The most complex nose of any Single Malt Scotch Whisky” (Michael Jackson). A firm, rounded, light to medium body. A strong malty taste with hints of sweet wood smoke and sandalwood on the pallate and a long, malt-driven finish with light smoke and hints of sweetness.

Black & White is a blended Scotch whisky originally produced James Buchanan & Co Ltd in London. The blend contains a high portion of quality grain whisky and a smaller content of malt. It is a pale-gold appearing whisky with a citrusy note on the nose, along with sharp grain and biscuits aromas and a faint touch of peat.
On the palate, Black & White Whisky has notes of sugary dried fruit, young oak, vanilla, caramel and lemon. The finish is short, with a slight sweetness of honey.
Fun fact: The creator of Black & White whisky, James Buchanan, is said to have gotten the idea for the brand on his way home from a dog-show, inspiring the inclusion of the Scottie and Westie added as iconic symbols of the brand back in the 1890s.

William Grants lived in Dufftown, the heart of Speyside. During his early years, Grant worked at the Mortlach Distillery where he learnt about whisky production. In 1886, with the help of his children, William Grant began the construction of the Glenfiddich Distillery. Distillation at the Glenfiddich distillery commenced on the 25th December 1887. Five years later, William Grant acquired the nearby Balvenie distillery.
